The following day, another high-mountain stage will bring them back to <strong>Alpe d&#8217;Huez<\/strong> after a particularly demanding route. <\/p>\n<p>For two days, the alpine roads, peaks, and villages of Oisans will be watched by millions of enthusiasts. Much more than a cycling competition, the <strong>Tour de France<\/strong> is a <strong>tremendous showcase for our mountains<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>It highlights their beauty, as well as their ability to host <strong>international events<\/strong> in a popular and authentic atmosphere.<\/p>\n<h2>Col de la Loze, a now legendary legacy<\/h2>\n<p>In <strong>2025<\/strong>, the Tour de France crossed <strong>M\u00e9ribel<\/strong> and <strong>Courchevel<\/strong> to reach the <strong>Col de la Loze<\/strong>. This stage significantly reinforced the reputation of this climb, culminating at <strong>2,304 meters of altitude<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>Today, the pass remains accessible to cyclists from both M\u00e9ribel and Courchevel. Its <strong>dedicated lane<\/strong> allows riders to experience the sensations of an emblematic climb, far from car traffic. <\/p>\n<p>The Tour&#8217;s passage thus leaves a lasting mark on the region.
